Hull & East Riding – January 2026
Space2BHeard CIC, a Community Interest Company delivering mental health services across Hull, East Riding and surrounding areas, is inviting expressions of interest for an Independent Contractor Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) Clinician.
The role offers an opportunity for an experienced counsellor or psychotherapist to work on the Hull Talking Therapies service, in partnership with City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP). The successful contractor will deliver Interpersonal Psychotherapy interventions to adults experiencing depression, following assessment by CHCP as the lead contract provider.
The position includes access to NHS England–funded IPT practitioner training, delivered online across selected dates in March and June 2026. Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience and meet eligibility criteria for IPT training. Once qualified, the clinician will hold a caseload of clients and work collaboratively within the wider Talking Therapies team.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on 6 February 2026, with interviews taking place on Thursday 12 February 2026. The successful contractor will be required to complete all relevant checks prior to commencing IPT training.
