The Space2BHeard Foundation is the part of our organisation in which we fund, support and get involved in the activities of other individuals and organisations. Our aims are to help people in our local communities access therapy, counselling and mental health support when it is needed to make the changes they wish to make towards a more content life.

We know that when people fundraise or donate to a cause of their choice it is important that they can see how and where their money is spent. This is why we created The Space2BHeard Foundation as we believe it is important for people in the heart of our communities to benefit from money raised locally. We also believe that involving our fundraisers in our journey to develop new services based on what is needed is important tool.

So far, money donated has been used to support individuals to access counselling sessions provided by therapists working with our Valued Minds Low Cost Counselling & Psychotherapy Service. We consider individual circumstances and aim to offer financial support whilst enabling our clients to maintain their autonomy in the direction of their sessions with their therapist.

We recognise that privately funded therapeutic options can be expensive and our ethos is to increase accessibility to enable more people to access the therapy they need when they need it.

As we grow we are interested to hear from people in our community that are able to offer skills in a voluntary setting. This includes offering skills in administration, bid writing, event & volunteer co-ordination and establishing & working with volunteers to deliver self-care, inclusion and social events.
